NTA starts the application process for AISSEE 2024-25.
AISSEE 2024-25: National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a notification and has started registration for All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE). Interested and eligible candidates can fill their form on the official website exams.nta.ac.in. The last date for application has been fixed as 16 December 2023, till 5 pm.
AISSEE 2024-25: How many schools have been given permission for admission?
Through AISSEE, admission to class 6th and class 9th is conducted in 33 military schools across the country. �Military Schools are English medium residential schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Prepare cadets for the National Defense Academy, Indian Naval Academy and other training academies. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) has approved 19 new Sainik Schools. Admission to Class 6 of the new Sainik Schools for the academic year 2024-25 will be done through AISSEE 2024.

Date of Exam – Sunday, 21 January 2024
Pattern of Exam – OMR/Pen and Paper, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
AISSEE 2024-25: Eligibility for Class 6
Eligibility for admission to Class 6: The age of the candidate should be between 10-12 years as on March 31, 2024. Girls can also apply for admission. However, the qualification for admission is the same for boys and girls.
AISSEE 2024-25: Eligibility for Class 9
Eligibility for admission to Class 9: Students should be between 13-15 years of age as on 31st March 2024, must have passed Class 8 from a recognized school for admission. Girls’ admission is open and subject to availability of seats. The age limit has been fixed the same as for boys.
Application Fees for AISSEE
The fee for general, defense personnel and ex-servicemen wards, OBC (NCL) is Rs 650. Whereas for SC, ST the fee has been fixed at Rs 500.
