Haryana Central University will now study four years BA BEd, approval from NCTE

The Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh will now also offer four-year Integrated B.A.B.Ed. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi has approved the running of this course under the Department of Teacher Education in the University. This course is for such students who want to build a future in the field of teaching. Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Expressing happiness over the launch of this new course, Tankeshwar Kumar said that this course will play a decisive role in meeting the demand of specially trained youth under the new National Education Policy 2020. This course is going to provide immense employment opportunities and the introduction of this course in the university will surely help in achieving the goals of the new National Education Policy.

Regarding the approval of this course from NCTE, the Vice-Chancellor said that this course will do the work of teaching-training according to the practical and scientific method. This course will be made available in the university from the academic session 2023-24. In this regard, the Vice-Chancellor, Head of the Department of Teacher Education, Prof. Congratulating all the teachers including Sarika Sharma, appreciated their efforts. Head of Department of Teacher Education Prof. Sarika Sharma informed that the inspection in this regard was done by NCTE in November, 2022.

Admission will be taken on 50 seats under this course in the university. He said that the process of admission to this course would be started soon and admission to this course would be done in the session 2023-24. After this achievement, Prof. Sarika Sharma Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Registrar Prof. Sunil Kumar and also appreciated the contribution of the teachers of the department.
