Haryana Board 2023: In Haryana, for the first time this year, students appearing for board exams are going to appear in private schools. For this, examination centers have been set up in 400 private schools by the Board of School Education Haryana. Along with this, the principal of the school has also been given the responsibility of the center superintendent. Haryana Board examinations are going to start in the state from February 27.

The new centers have been set up after the Directorate of Secondary Education directed 139 government Adarsh Sanskriti Vidyalayas not to affiliate them with CBSE’s examination centers and not involve their staff in the conduct of examinations. The board believes that more transparency will be ensured by conducting the examination in a private school.

Cameras are very important in board exams as nowadays students often indulge in cheating and malpractices. A command and control center will be set up at the board headquarters where live feed of all the centers will be available. Also, the principal of the concerned private school will be the center superintendent and students of the same school will not be given the same centre. His center will be in another school.
Assessment centers will be made in private schools only
Evaluation centers for answer sheets of board examinations will also be set up in private schools. Till now the education board has been making only government schools as examination centers. Around seven thousand private schools across the state are affiliated to the Haryana School Education Board. The Haryana School Education Board Administration had sought applications from private schools to set up examination centers, for which the Education Board Administration has also fixed terms and conditions.
Last year 1547 examination centers were set up in the state.
Last year, 1547 examination centers were set up for the Haryana School Education Board’s 10th and 12th examinations to be held in March 2022. In this, three lakh 78 thousand 518 candidates appeared in the secondary examination, while two lakh 90 thousand 294 candidates appeared in the secondary examination. In this way, every year more than six lakh candidates will appear in the 10th and 12th examinations of the education board.
