Health departments have also given instructions to prepare isolation wards in hospitals. In view of H3N2 the education minister of Puducherry has closed all the schools for 10 days. Keeping in view the safety of the children, the decision to close the schools has been taken.

In view of the H3N2 virus, Puducherry Education Minister Namassivam has decided to close schools from classes 1 to 8 keeping in mind the increasing numbers. In fact, all schools in Puducherry have been closed from March 16 to March 26. Keeping in mind the increasing infection, a decision will be taken on the situation that will prevail after March 26. However, the higher level classes will continue as per their schedule.

More than 70 cases have been registered
