Teachers of only seven of its colleges had accused the government that due to non-release of funds, there is a lot of delay in getting salary.

During this, Education Minister Atishi Marlena said that the government has allocated Rs 400 crore for the financial year 2023-24. At the same time, Rs 100 crore has been released in its first quarter itself. He said that every year the funds of 12 colleges are increased to ensure quality higher education for every child in Delhi.

Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Acharya Narendra Dev College, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Aditi Mahavidyalaya, Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, Bhagini Nivedita College, Bhaskaracharya College, Maharaja Agrasen College are among the 12 fully funded colleges of Delhi University. , Maharishi Valmiki College of Education, Shaheed Rajguru College and Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies.

Colleges can get many facilities from the money received by the Delhi government through this fund. First of all, the salaries of the teachers will be available on time, while the salaries that have been pending for months will also be paid, giving relief to the teachers.
