Changes in negative marking scheme of SSC JE 2023 exam
SSC JE 2023: Changes in the negative marking scheme of Junior Engineer Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Examination 2023 were announced by the Staff Selection Commission. A notification for this change was issued by the Commission on 18 September 2023. Candidates who are going to appear for SSC JE 2023 exam this time can check the notification of this change.
Negative marking scheme will be like this
Earlier, for both the exams, negative marking was one-third of the total marks awarded for that question. But now according to the new notification released on the official website Ssc.nic.in, in Paper 1 of the exam, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The department said that in Paper 2, negative marking of 1 mark has been fixed for wrong answers.
Exam will be held in October
SSC JE 2023 exam is probably scheduled for October, 2023. However, the exact date and time of the exam can be officially announced later. Through this recruitment drive, a total of 1,324 vacancies of Junior Engineers will be filled in SSC Central Government Departments.
