Central Govt Gift to Agniveers BSF Recruitment: The central government has given a big gift to the fire fighters. In fact, the Center has announced the implementation of 10 percent reservation for ex-Agniveers to fill vacancies in the BSF under the Agneepath scheme. Also, the Agniveers will also be given some relaxation in the upper age limit norms. It will depend on which batch Agniveer belongs to. Agniveers will be given relaxation on the basis of batch. Along with this, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification in this regard on March 6 and informed about it. This notification has been issued only after approval.
When did the first recruitments start
The Ministry of Defense had started the Agniveer Recruitment registration process on 1st July 2022 by putting a post on an official social media. During this, the ministry had fixed separate dates for all the three forces, the Navy, the Army and the Air Force. The Ministry of Defense had said that the Air Force was the first to start the recruitment process from June 24, 2022, under the Agneepath scheme. For this recruitment, the ministry had received 2.72 lakh recruitment applications till 30 June 2022.
