CBSE Board Exam 2024: Several changes have been made by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the pattern of board exams to be held next year. On the other hand, if we talk about this year, then this year CBSE Board 10th and 12th result was released on 12 May 2023. Along with the release of the result, the dates of the exam to be held in the year 2024 have also been announced. Let us tell you that according to the notification issued by the board, the board examinations for the year 2024 will be conducted from February 15, 2024. Along with this, sample papers are also issued on the official website of CBSE Board, cbseacademic.nic.in. Now CBSE has also announced the exam pattern for the year 2024.

This change happened in the exam pattern

CBSE Board Class 10th exam to be held in the year 2024 will have multiple choice questions. However, the paper will be of the same design as last year. Along with this the paper will be show cause based. There will be both long answer and short answer type questions. Along with this, case study based questions will also be asked in it.

How will be the paper of 10th Science

There will be 39 questions in 5 sections in this paper, in which all questions will be compulsory. At the same time, students will also be given internal options in some questions. Section A will consist of 20 objective type questions carrying 1 mark each. Whereas, Section B has 6 very short questions carrying 2 marks each. Students will have to answer these questions in 30 to 50 words. Section C will have 7 short answer questions carrying 03 marks each. These answers have to be written in the range of 50 to 80 words. Section D will have 3 long answer type questions of 5 marks each. Students will have to answer these in the range of 80 to 120 words. Section E will have 3 case based questions of 4 marks each with sub-sections. Follow these steps to check the students sample paper.

  • Then click on the link of 10th or 12th Sample Question Paper according to your class.
  • After doing all this you can see the subject wise sample paper on the next page.
