Team India sweats it out in Wellington ahead of 5th ODI against New Zealand
- The 5th ODI is also going to be a dead rubber as India lead the series 3-1
- But Team India will be looking to right the wrongs in Wellington after their loss in the 4th ODI
- Rohit, Hardik, Shubman, Siraj and Khaleel were seen practicing in the nets
Team India stand-in captain Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Hardik Pandya were among the players who hit the nets at the Wellington cricket stadium on Saturday, ahead of the fifth and final one-day international against New Zealand.
The final match is also going to be a dead rubber as India had already won the five-match series 3-0 after outplaying New Zealand by eight wickets in the first match, by 90 runs in the second and by seven wickets in the third.
Young fast bowlers Khaleel Ahmed and Mohammed Siraj were also seen at the nets having a conversation with bowling coach Bharat Arun while Vijay Shankar and Shubman Gill enjoyed fielding drills and took some sharp catches as well.
