Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, Watch Active 2 and Watch 4G launched: Price, specs and availability

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Tab S6 flagship tablet in India alongside the Galaxy Watch 4G and Watch Active 2 smartwatches. The Galaxy Tab S6 is the company's high-end tablet that touts a Super AMOLED display and Snapdragon 855 SoC. The Galaxy Watch 4G is Samsung's first device with e-SIM support, while the Watch Active 2 comes with a new digital bezel.
Galaxy Tab S6 price in India is set at Rs 59,900. It will go on sale from October 11 in Mountain Gray and Cloud Blue colours. The Tab S6 will be available with introductory offers of up to Rs 5,000 cashback for HDFC Bank credit and debit card users. Samsung is also offering the Keyboard Cover at Rs 5,499 and 6 months paid membership to YouTube Premium.
The Galaxy Watch comes in a 44mm dial size and in stainless steel and aluminium variants. The Watch Active 2 Stainless Steel version comes in Silver, Black and Gold finishes and is priced at Rs 31,990. The Watch Active 2 Aluminium variant also comes in Black, Rose Gold and Cloud Silver finishes at Rs 26,990.
Lastly, the Galaxy Watch 4G will come in 46mm and 42mm sizes at Rs 30,990 and Rs 28,490, respectively. It will also be available for purchase from October 11. Samsung's newest Galaxy Tab S6, Watch Active 2 and Watch 4G will be available across offline channels, Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru and leading online platforms.
Galaxy Tab S6 specifications
The Tab S6 features a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED WQXGA display with slim bezels. It also comes with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support but lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack. Tab S6 gets an in-display fingerprint sensor as well as face unlock. The tablet measures 5.7mm in thickness and weighs 420 grams.
The flagship tablet is powered by a 7nm octa-core Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Tab S6 gets a magnetic strip on the metal rear panel that allows you to wirelessly charge the S Pen. The S Pen comes with a built-in Bluetooth, allowing you to take selfies and browse presentations remotely.
Galaxy Tab S6 houses a 7,040mAh battery, which is rated to deliver around 15 hours of usage. It also comes with a new and improved DeX mode with a dedicated DeX key on the Tab S6 Book Cover Keyboard.
Galaxy Watch Active 2 and Watch 4G
Samsung has also launched two new smartwatches in India. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 succeeds the Watch Active and brings some interesting new features. The highlight of the Watch Active 2 is its digital bezel which allows you to navigate the UI by touching around the border of the display.
The Watch Active 2 comes in a 44mm size and in two finishes - aluminium case with a sports band and stainless steel case with a leather band. The smartwatch runs on One UI and can track over 39 workouts. It can also track real time stress levels and comes with enhanced sleep tracking.
Coming to the Galaxy Watch 4G, it is Samsung's first smartwatch to launch with e-SIM support. WIth LTE connectivity, you can use the Galaxy Watch 4G without a smartphone near you. The Watch Active 4G lets you respond to text messages, use GPS mapping, stream music and more without a smartphone. Customers can register for an e-SIM with Airtel or Reliance Jio.
